Set in the small market town of Witney, on the edge of the Cotswolds, Lily’s Attic is a unique shop boasting great character, including a lovely inglenook fireplace and original beams. Their lovely lifestyle shop has jewellery and accessories displayed in beautiful dressers giving the place a vintage shabby chic feel.
From strength to strength
The boutique opened in December 2007 with great success and shown increased growth year on year. In 2010 they extended the shop into the neighbouring premises where it is currently still growing from strength to strength. Customers travel from all over Oxfordshire and beyond to come and feel the magic and indulge themselves in fab gifts and accessories which constantly change making each visit unique every time.
Witney’s very own MyStore Self Storage has helped the team at Lily’s Attic hugely. A 50sqft storage space has allowed the business to keep stock separate from home life. “Up until now I have always stored my window displays and other shop related items alongside my personal items in my very small garage making it tricky to keep everything organised” remarked Tamsin Butler, Business Owner.
Shop stock and Christmas trees!
Tamsin was attracted to MyStore for the simple fact that she could rock up whenever convenient. Grab what she needed and go.
It also meant that she could keep a close eye on what stock she had in. Long term, Lily’s Attic cannot see a future without their storage room at MyStore in Witney.
It has made perfect sense to their business; Tamsin and her team now see their storage room as an extension of their shop. MyStore has not only benefitted the business but it has also helped Tamsin out personally too.

Jelly crumble
Tamsin recently moved her other retail business ‘Jelly Crumble Ltd’ into MyStore which has taken over a 200sqft space, simply allowing her to have everything under one roof!
“The girls in reception are fab and are always very accommodating, nothing is a big issue for them and they always make me feel welcome. MyStore has become an extension to my life.”
