The Military Wives Choir is a community of approximately 2000 women in 70 choirs across the UK and internationally. Who come together to celebrate a love of singing and a communal understanding that comes from their members’ shared experiences of the Armed Forces.

“We welcome all women whose lives are currently impacted by their military connection; our network supports each other and forms life-changing friendships that lead to new and uplifting experiences through singing.”

The Military Wives Choir first reached out to MyStore in 2021 after being informed that they needed to find a new storage solution for their musical instruments and fundraising equipment. The proximity to RAF Brize Norton and the secure dry storage rooms made choosing MyStore a no brainer and the team at MyStore jumped at the opportunity to support another local charity.

“The easy access MyStore provides means we can access the equipment as and when we need for fundraising events, rehearsals and performances. With our nature of supporting and connecting women with a military connection, being able to have one location to store and retrieve items from has been beneficial to us. The discounted storage room means we have been able to focus our funds on our principles of ‘Sing, Share, Support’, creating a support network through the power of singing.

After 3 years of storing at MyStore, the Choir has managed to secure some on-going storage space and reluctantly gave their notice to vacate their free storage room at MyStore. The Military Wives Choir have some very exciting performances up and coming this year and are continually reaching out to women with a military connection.
